Q. What is the electronic catalog?

An electronic catalog is a searchable tool you can use to find books, articles, ebooks, and really everything the library has.

WorldCat Discovery is the library's searching system. It includes our print catalog, as well as our electronic resources, and replaced our old systems SWOOP and EAGLIT in Spring 2020.

For immediate assistance, you can ask for help at the 3rd floor service desk, or contact library staff remotely for help.

How do I learn how to use WorldCat Discovery?

• View a recorded webinar. We have webinars about basic database searching, WorldCat Discovery in particular, and trainings about specific databases available on our website.
• Take a scheduled class by checking our calendar and registering.
• Make an appointment with a librarian to discuss your project. The meeting can be in person, on the phone, or online.
