If you are a student, faculty member, or staff member of TAMUT:

  • Make sure you are trying to access the database through the library’s website, and not from another link. (You should not be asked to pay for content.)
  • Try your Eagle ID and password again, and make sure caps lock is off.
  • Clear your browsing history and try logging on again.
  • Check on our system status page to see if there is a known issue with the database you're trying to use.
  • Ask for help through the phone, email, or chat on our Help! page.

If you are not a TAMUT student, faculty member, or staff member, you do not have permission to access the databases.

Advanced troubleshooting:

Do you have some form of internet blocking software (like a firewall) running?

Some of these types of software block some of our databases.  Try disabling the software or changing your settings to allow.  If software such as a firewall is being run by your employer, you may not have permission or access to disable it.
